About The Decant Club

Perfume decants: a smarter way to explore luxury fragrance.

Why Decants

Try more. Spend less. Find the one.

A full bottle of designer or niche perfume is a real investment, and a paper test strip rarely tells you how a fragrance will wear on your skin through a full day.

The Decant Club offers sought-after fragrances in 2ml, 5ml and 10ml vials so you can live with a scent before committing to it. Build a rotation, find a signature scent, or travel light with the fragrances you already love.

Why we started selling perfume decants

Perfume decants solve a problem almost every fragrance lover runs into. You smell something great on a test strip, buy the full bottle, and a week later realize it is not quite you. The Decant Club exists so that never has to happen again.

We offer designer and niche fragrances in 2ml, 5ml and 10ml vials. You get to wear each scent through real days and nights, in your own climate, on your own skin, before you spend money on a full-size bottle.

What makes perfume decants different from samples

Free department store samples are usually tiny, hard to find for niche houses, and often come as dab vials. Perfume decants are larger and come in spray atomizers, so you can wear a scent the way it was designed to be worn.

A 5ml decant lasts long enough to wear a fragrance to work, out to dinner and on the weekend. That is the kind of testing that tells you whether a scent belongs in your collection.

Who perfume decants are for

  • New fragrance fans who want to explore without guessing.
  • Collectors who want to try a release before adding it to the shelf.
  • Travelers who prefer a small vial over packing a heavy glass bottle.
  • Gift shoppers who want to give someone a curated set of scents to try.

Our approach

We keep the catalog focused on fragrances people ask about most, from crowd-pleasing designer scents to sought-after niche releases. Every product page lists the sizes available and the price for each one, so there are no surprises at checkout.

If you are not sure where to begin, start with our men's or unisex collections, read the fragrance decant FAQ, or ask us for a recommendation.

Designer and niche, side by side

Our shelves mix two worlds. Designer fragrances come from fashion houses and are often easy to wear and widely loved. Niche fragrances come from houses that focus only on perfume, and they tend to use bolder ideas and rarer materials.

Comparing the two side by side is one of the most useful things you can do as a fragrance shopper. You quickly learn whether you prefer a polished crowd-pleaser or something more distinctive, and you can spend your full-bottle budget accordingly.

Sizes that match how you shop

The 2ml vial is built for discovery. It holds roughly 30 sprays, which is enough to wear a scent several times and see how it lasts on your skin.

The 5ml vial is the everyday middle ground, with roughly 75 sprays for a few weeks of regular wear. The 10ml vial holds roughly 150 sprays and is a practical travel size for a fragrance you already know you love.

Questions before you order?

We are happy to help you narrow down a short list. Tell us a few scents you already enjoy, the season you are shopping for and whether it is for work, evenings or everyday wear, and we will point you in the right direction.

How to get the most from perfume decants

Try one new scent at a time so you can really get to know it. Wear it for at least two or three days, and pay attention to how it changes from the first spray to the end of the day.

Perfumers describe this change in terms of top, heart and base notes. The Wikipedia article on perfume explains this structure and the main fragrance families in plain language.

Once you find a favorite, step up to a larger vial or a full bottle with confidence. That is the whole idea behind The Decant Club: try more, spend less, and find the one.
