How our fragrance recommendations work
Choosing a new scent online is hard when you cannot smell it first. That is why we offer fragrance recommendations by message. You tell us what you like, and we suggest a short list of decants to try.

What to include for better fragrance recommendations
Share two or three fragrances you already enjoy, plus any you have tried and disliked. Let us know when you plan to wear the scent, such as daily office wear, date nights or warm weather.
It also helps to mention the notes you gravitate toward, like citrus, woods, vanilla or spice. If you are unsure, the fragrance wheel is a simple way to describe what you like.
Starting points by occasion
Office and everyday wear: clean, fresh and lightly woody scents that stay close to the skin and never overwhelm a room.
Date nights and evenings: warmer scents with amber, vanilla, tobacco or spice that leave a memorable trail.
Warm weather: citrus, aquatic and green notes that feel bright in the heat.
Cold weather: richer scents with resins, leather and sweet notes that bloom on cool skin.
Browse the designer and niche collections to see what fits each occasion.
Questions about an order

Common fragrance notes, explained
Citrus: bergamot, lemon, grapefruit and orange. Bright and energetic, often used in the opening of fresh scents.
Aromatic: lavender, sage, mint and rosemary. Clean and herbal, a classic in barbershop-style fragrances.
Woody: cedar, sandalwood, vetiver and oud. Dry, smooth or smoky, and often the backbone of a scent.
Amber and spice: resins, cinnamon, cardamom and saffron. Warm and rich, ideal for cooler weather and evenings.
Gourmand: vanilla, tonka bean, caramel, coffee and chocolate. Sweet and cozy notes that many people find addictive.
Leather and tobacco: deep, slightly smoky notes that add confidence and character to a fragrance.
Mention any of these notes in your message and our fragrance recommendations will be much more accurate.
Why skin chemistry matters
The same fragrance can smell noticeably different from one person to the next. Skin type, body temperature and even diet change how quickly notes evaporate and which ones stand out. A scent that is soft and powdery on a friend might turn sweeter or sharper on you.
That is exactly why we suggest testing with small vials instead of buying blind. Recommendations narrow the field, but your own skin makes the final call. Wear each suggestion for a full day, compare how it feels in the morning and the evening, and keep the ones that make you reach for them again.
Once you have a short list, start with 2ml vials from the shop and step up to a larger size once you find a favorite. Small vials keep the cost of exploring low, so you can try several suggestions side by side and compare them properly before you commit to anything bigger.
